| Professional artist and muralist Colleen Schmid of Heathrow, Florida has been transforming kid’s bedrooms, nurseries, playrooms, day care centers, school rooms & churches into Magical Places for over 9 years now. It has been an extremely exciting and rewarding journey. There’s nothing quite like sharing in the experience of introducing a child to his new mural or painting. The smile and expression on the child’s face is just absolutely priceless!
It’s this rewarding feeling and inner contentment of contribution that has kept Colleen focused and dedicated to bringing the World of Wonder of arts to the children in her life and the children of her clients. Colleen has painted everything from children’s table and chair sets, dressers, rockers and stools to ceilings, full wall murals and full room themed-mural creations. Many of her clients began requesting a smaller version of her full wall murals that they could move from room to room, and also that could be taken with them if they moved to a new residence. From these requests, the Mural Wall Hangings were created. These delightful hangings have been called the “portable and affordable” murals... and for good reason! Full wall murals run about $1000 and up depending on the size and complexity. Now, a family never has to leave their cherished artwork behind!
